Maria Maddalena Tumedei has been working since 2013 as Research Associate in the Biosciences Laboratory at IRCCS IRST. During the past years she gained extensive expertise in diagnostic activity, with a particular focus in the detection of predictive biomarkers to select patients for targeted therapies. She has more than 10 years experience in the optimization and validation of Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Fluorescensce in situ Ibridization, Multiplex IHC and Multiplex Immunofluorescence. She is involved in several international collaborations and she is author of scientific works coming from many translational research projects in the fields of bladder cancer, lung cancer, cervical cancer and breast cancer.
