Chiara Arienti, MS (Biology, 2004), PhD in molecular Medicine (2020), is specialized in the field of experimental & pre-clinical oncology research, particularly focusing on extracellular vesicles (EVs), and the cellular events that rule cell death and proliferation, cell-cell interactions, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, drug targets, mechanism of action and biomarkers. She has long-standing research experience in the study of antineoplastic drug action mechanism, analysis of sensitivity to cancer therapeutics and radiation, either as single agents or in combination and in the characterization of molecular pathways involved in cell growth, cell cycle perturbations and apoptosis. She has also developed a considerable experience in molecular biology techniques and in the isolation and characterization of primary cell cultures from biopsy specimens.
