Dr. Marchesini, Master’s Degree in Biology at University of Perugia (Perugia, 2006), PhD in Oncology at University of Perugia/Istituto Europeo di Oncologia IEO (Milano, 2012) and Post-Doctoral Fellow at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, 2012-2017) is a senior researcher of the Immuno-Hematology Unit. Dr. Marchesini’s research focuses on the role of chromosomic aberrations including telomeric dysfunctions in cancer. He is leading a project focused on the dissection of cellular processes of acquired resistance to therapy in MM (MM) with the main goal to identify new molecular targets and new effective compounds for the treatment of MM refractory to conventional therapies.
