Cos'è
European health research generates robust scientific evidence, yet significant challenges remain in translating research results into effective policies and sustainable health system solutions. Hosted in Brussels, this high-level event brings together representatives of the European Commission, European research projects, health authorities, networks and ecosystem actors to reflect on how evidence in precision oncology and digital health can more effectively inform European policy-making and programming. Through dedicated panels and cross-project discussions, the event wants to explore lessons learned from EU-funded initiatives, identify structural and regulatory barriers to implementation, and discuss how ecosystem approaches can strengthen the impact, exploitation and policy uptake of research results. The dialogue will contribute to the development of a shared strategic vision and to a Manifesto outlining concrete, policy-oriented recommendations to support future European action in cancer research and digital health.
