Business Development
From scientific discovery to market: IRST's Technology Transfer accelerates innovation, start-ups, and partnerships with social impact.
Business Development activities, carried out through the Technology Transfer Office, aim to valorize research results by transforming them into innovative solutions for health. The most promising technologies are selected, analyzed, and positioned on the market with targeted transfer and promotion strategies.
Each initiative is evaluated not only in scientific terms, but also in terms of its socio-economic impact and attractiveness to partners and investors. The patent portfolio is managed and protected throughout the entire process, from conception to licensing and commercialization. At the same time, the creation of start-ups and spin-offs is supported, accelerating transfer to the market.
Special attention is paid to the enhancement of strategic assets: Biosciences Laboratory, CRO, Clean Rooms for ATMP and Radiopharmacy. These infrastructures constitute a competitive advantage in attracting national and international collaborations. Thanks to an integrated and multidisciplinary approach, the activities promote dialogue between research and business. Business Development thus contributes to reducing the gap between the laboratory and the market. The goal is to generate value for IRST and concrete benefits for society through high-impact innovation.
The IRST Innovation “Line” is a path designed to guide researchers and innovators. Each station corresponds to a strategic stage: Innovation, IDF, Mandatary, Fundraising, Internationalization, Regulation. A true journey toward innovation, accompanying ideas from the laboratory to the market.
